Young Preschool
- Young Preschool program includes children approx. 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 years old
- 1:8 teacher/child ratio
- Class size of 16
Young preschoolers will participate in circle time where they will sing songs, move to music, read stories, and participate in a planned group learning experience. Small group experiences will emphasis a specific developmental area helping children increase their learning through practice and variety. Teachers will communicate with parents to make potty training a positive and successful experience. Toilet training is a developmental milestone and each child may show signs of readiness at variable ages.
CLUES YOUR CHILD IS READY TO POTTY TRAIN:
Has a dry diaper for acceptable amounts of time
Can dress and un-dress themselves with minimal assistance
Asks to sit on the toilet
Having regular bowel movements |
